| Parasite Carvings
These carvings are made from parasitic wood found in the Indonesian rainforests. Imagine a large Ivy clinging to a wall or tree. Sections of parasitic wood are removed as below.
The growing stem is then turned into a unique carving such as a lizard, frog or a set of toadstalls etc. producing a truly one-off and beautiful handicraft. The size and shape of each carving will of course vary depending on the vine section.
